I had the most wonderful week. I had many amazing experiences, many of which just increased my love of the gospel and my family. I had the chance to talk to three people from my mission just this weekend and talk all about Italy and all the wonderful memories there. So, while I'm still on my "I love italy" kick, I'm going to share a few pictures from Italy. I loved serving a mission there for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I grew to love so many people and feel the our Heavenly Father's love for others. Really, there are so many amazing people out there and so many beautiful things to see in the world. What a blessing it was for me to have those short 18 months in Italy. Thank you to all of you who enhanced that experience for me and for all that you taught me! The pictures on the very top of the page are of my missionary tag and below that is a photo of the temple grounds where the Rome, Italy temple will be built. The three photos here are in Lanciano, Livorno, and Firenze.

The top photo in this collage is Livorno, Toscana. On the bottom from left to right is: Pisa, Pescara, and Cagliari.

These lovely ladies were all my amazing companions in Italy. Top: Sorella Bucholtz,Sorella Ritter, Sorella Miles. Bottom: Sorella Stephenson, Sorella Gadd, Sorella Mandala', Sorella Swenson, and Sorelle Cheesman. VI VOGLIO BENE!!!!

These are some of the amazing people I knew in my mission. Just looking at these makes me smile!

Just a few of the wonderfully amazing people I knew in Italy. Top: The young adults in Ladispoli, Michael and Me. Bottom: the Distante girls, The Camplone Family, and Sorella Swenson and I with Lesli.
Thanks for sharing! So glad you got to have that wonderful mission experience.

ReplyDeleteOh I sure do love this post. I have my italian targhetta in my room and it makes me happy and a little sad every time I see it. Can you believe that all of that happened?!? It just seems like the most beautiful, unreal dream ever. I'm so glad you were in it though. TVB
