Minolta

These are just two of my photos using my minolta film camera. Nothing really fantastic, but I'm working on it. These are just scans of prints. The first one was taken during the day in a "high key" situation. That's difficult to develop it with out making it too gray/dark/or blasted out! And the bottom one was taken at night on a frozen river in Idaho falls. It's scary/exciting using film because you never know if it will really turn out! Such anticipation! But it really helps to understand lighting and composition. I can't have the camera automatically set up the shutter speed, film speed, and aperature. I have to figure it out all myself! I definitely reccomend those of you working on photography to develop your skill with film. It will blow your photographic world out of this universe! that' my plug for the day :)
