Valeri Glava

This last week I had the opportunity to go to Teton Valley and photograph a benefit concert for a children's music education foundation. My Grandpa Bob organized it and invited a world renowned violinist, Valeri Glava, to perform. From what I understood it was a miracle that they found this guy. Someone apart of the children's foundation sat next to Glava's wife on a plane and they got talking about music, and she mentioned her husband was a violinist, and one thing led to another and he was willing to come and perform to raise money for children's music education. There were two children's chiors first to perform (so adorable! It included my little cousins, Danny and Gwenie) and then Glava performed numbers from the opera Rigoletto, to Fiddler on the Roof, to a gypsy song, to other classics. It was an amazing evening and both shows were sold out! In fact, so many more people wanted to see it that they had to book a matinee performance as well. (These pictures were published in the newspaper the following day!) If you want to learn more about Valeri Glava, here's his website valeriglava.net.
