Rose + Harrison {Engagement Portraits}

October is my absolute favorite month of the year. And November. And December. Oh, and September. Oh goodness. I should just say that I love this time of year. And I think you all know why.  Fall is beautiful. This is my first autumn in New York and it does not disappoint! This week I had my first photo shoot since the leaves changed and it was a perfect day!

I met Rose and Harrison Monday morning at Trophy Point on West Point for a mini engagement shoot.  We had originally planned to do the shoot on Sunday at some gardens across the river, but we were rained out.  I was disappointed that we had to move the shoot to West Point on Monday, but my disappointment turned to delight when I saw we had sunshine and a beautiful orange-red tree to accompany us.  While Rose was changing for the shoot, Harrison told me how he proposed.  They have known each other since high school.  He told me that his proposal was a complete surprise and it was so sweet to hear about.  These photos were taken right where he proposed four months ago.  I had a wonderful time working with these two.  All turned out well and I am drooling over the beauty of these images!  Harrison is now in his final year at The United States Military Academy and Rose is attending college in upstate New York.  They will be married on West Point next July.  Congratulations to Rose and Harrison!
