Photo Adventure

So, I'm moving to Utah.  And packing and organizing and throwing out is insane.  I'm going crazy trying to decide what to take, what to leave behind, what to give away, and what to throw away.  You'd think after spending my entire life moving from place to place I would have this down to a science.  Absolutely not.  Yesterday made me go a little nuts and I needed a serious break.  I needed a creative break.  I wanted to take pictures, but I wasn't dressed and I really didn't have time to go out anywhere to shoot, so I decided to go on a little adventure around my house and take some indoor shots.  This little adventure was long overdue.  My mother is incredibly creative and she does amazing things with our home.  I keep trying to convince her to start a blog or a pinterest board or something.  I swear she'd have 10,000 followers in no time.  Part of that is my fault though.  I should be taking pictures of what she has done.  I mean, she refinishes furniture, MAKES furniture, takes junk and turns it into treasure and sews and sews and sews.  I can only hope I can be half as good as her someday.  These photos won't really do any justice and honestly, it's just a little glimpse of my home.  I should probably do a full on shoot of the entire home before I leave and then just start a pinterest board for my mom.  Hope you like what you see.

SATURDAY AT HOME

The painting on the top right was done by my aunt Shauna and the frame is made from the wood of the cabin where my great grandpa was born.

This teddy bear was given to my dad when he was born in 1964.  Poor thing lost all his hair.

I just love my little sister's desk.

I try my hand at a little decorating.  My room isn't quite as fabulous at the rest of the house, but I get my best ideas from my mother.

I'm going to miss living in this corner of the house.

This was before packing got really crazy.
